What

Moves the create-db web app (apps/claim-db-worker) from the old dark navy/teal/Barlow look to the current prisma.io brand. The source of truth is web/apps/site and its /brand-kit page.

  • Tokens and type: ink/paper surfaces, the prism cyan/yellow/red scales (copied from the site's globals.css), Sora for headings and Inter for body text. Code stays on a system monospace stack so connection strings stay readable.
  • Logo and favicons: the new prism mark and full-colour lockup, plus the site's favicon, icon.svg and apple-icon.
  • Product label: there's no Prisma Postgres lockup in the kit, so the product is named with a dot-and-label kicker. That also follows the kit's "pills are for buttons" rule.
  • Buttons: a CSS port of the site's PrismButton and outline pill. The site version uses framer-motion and a WebGL burst; I didn't want either in the worker bundle.
  • Hero and state pages: the spectral wash, film grain and triple-band prism ray, with Prismo matched to each message: salute on claim, happy on success, sad on errors and expired databases.
  • /web app: the active tab is marked with the prism bands. There's a light Monaco theme (token colours use the 700–800 steps so they hold contrast on white), and Studio, the toasts and the modals are on the brand palette.
  • OG image: replaced with the site's generated /og/card.png, under a new filename (og-card.png) so social caches pick it up.
  • Cleanup: removed 10 old-brand assets that nothing references.

Testing

  • tsc --noEmit passes.
  • vitest passes, 11/11. Two tests changed: the success test asserted on the old illustration's alt text, and the claim test now finds the button by role, since its text is inside a label span.
  • Checked visually in the browser at 1440px and 390px on every page, including the CTA hover state.

Known, not touched here

  • /web/connect and /web/schema throw a hydration-mismatch warning in dev. It also happens on main before this change.

Deploying

Merging deploys to production. Cloudflare Workers Builds is connected to this repo and builds claim-db-worker from main (production builds on main show up as checks). To look at it on the real runtime before merging:

cd apps/claim-db-worker
pnpm run upload # build + upload a version, prod traffic unchanged
# smoke-test create → claim on the version's preview URL

If anything goes wrong after merge, roll back with npx wrangler versions deploy and pick the previous version.

About the failing Workers Builds checks: they're failing on PR branches across the repo, not just this one. #84 only touches the CLI package and fails both worker builds the same way, while main builds green. The production build (opennextjs-cloudflare build) passes locally on this branch. The build logs are in the Cloudflare dashboard, which I can't access.

Heads-up: deploy:staging passes --env staging, but wrangler.jsonc doesn't define a staging environment.

Port the prisma.io brand (web/apps/site, /brand-kit) to the create-db web
app: ink-and-paper surfaces, Sora + Inter, the prism cyan/yellow/red
palette, new logo/favicons, CSS port of the PrismButton, the spectral
wash + grain + prism ray, and Prismo on success/error/claim states.

Also restyles the Monaco schema editor (light theme), Prisma Studio
theme, toasts and modals; replaces the OG image with the site's
generated card; removes unused old-brand assets.
