CLI v0.1.33 (base44/cli#663) added base44 api catalog|search|grep|fetch, which reach every public Base44 API through the server's OpenAPI spec. The skill didn't mention them, so agents couldn't learn them.

  • New skills/base44-cli/references/api.md: when to use it, the search → --help contract → call flow, {app_id} filling, --read-only, --body / --form / --output / --refresh, global --json.
  • SKILL.md: a short "Any Other API Operation" section under Available Commands pointing to it.

All facts come from the CLI source at tag v0.1.33. Done by hand because the automatic skill sync is broken (fixed separately); CLI_VERSION is left to the sync. node scripts/validate-template.mjs passes.

CLI v0.1.33 added base44 api catalog|search|grep|fetch, which reach every
public Base44 API through the server's OpenAPI spec. Add a reference doc
for them and point to it from SKILL.md.

Name the Apps and Workspace APIs, say how to pass the workspace ID, and
add the --form content type, the encoded-path refusal and the error's
request ID.

Five fresh agents ran real tasks with only this skill. Fixes for where
they stumbled:

- api.md: pipe --help through jq inside The Flow (contracts reach 44KB)
and say progress lines go to stderr, so never use 2>&1
- api.md: read the contract's description before calling; search can
  rank the wrong operation first
- api.md: --read-only follows the spec's mark, so some POST list
operations pass; --limit may return fewer
- api.md: examples use custom domains and SEO instead of workflow runs,
which has a dedicated command; drop the Spec Cache section and the
  encoded-path detail
- SKILL.md: a routing case for questions about an existing app or
workspace, --app-id covers api fetch, reading remote entities without
a project, and more examples of what base44 api covers

- Name the description in the skill's trigger text and .responseSchema in
  the --help jq filter
- Say how to see an operation's read-only mark (search --read-only)
- Say how to create an entity without a project, and that a push can
  overwrite it
- Make the custom-domain hint not imply an order, and pass --read-only in
  the read example

- eject creates a new app; point plain source downloads to export-to-zip
- list base44 logs in the Function Management table so agents find it
  before the per-function logs endpoint
- say the API has no operations for the user's own account
- grep also matches endpoints and incidental schema words
- name redirects, collaborators, ownership and analytics as api tasks

Reverts the routing, --app-id, entities, eject, logs and frontmatter
edits; they belong in separate changes.

Agents ran real writes and had to discover what a write prints: the
empty-response output, exit codes, where the new ID comes from, that
undo depends on the API, and that a 403 can have a non-permission reason.

Headless evals of the installed plugin showed two misses: requests about
an existing app's settings never loaded this skill, and "download the
source" ran eject, a dedicated command that also creates an app copy.

- Name operations on existing apps and workspaces through the public API
  in the skill description
- Prefer a dedicated command only when it does exactly what was asked
