What kind of change?

What this does

This is the manual sponsor flow ("pricing ready, ping me"), with no self-serve checkout.

• /advertise is rewritten so it explains:
  • What a Sponsored slot is and where it shows: the homepage slot, the latest weekly drop, and the Sponsored label on the listing's page, cards and compare.
  • What it never changes: search results or their order, tasks, alternatives, compare, the Operator, and the Verified, Official and Featured labels. It also states that sponsorship never appears in AI-assistant (MCP) results.
  • Three packages (1, 4 and 12 weeks) from one constant, SPONSOR_PACKAGES, in app/advertise/page.tsx. Each price is null and shows "Contact for pricing" until Assaf confirms prices.
  • Who qualifies: listings that meet the acceptance rules and pass the Verified checks. Every sponsor is reviewed, and a request can be declined.
  • How it works: request, review, a Stripe Payment Link by email after approval, then live. The page has no payment button, form or Stripe link.
  • Request a slot opens an email to barnir@agentmail.to with the subject and body prefilled (listing, package, start week, name).
• /pro was a "Pro Access" placeholder. It now 308-redirects to /advertise; the page and its footer link are removed. /advertise is added to the sitemap.
• Version 2.8.2 (after MIT for code, CC BY-NC 4.0 for catalog data (2.8.1) #321 took 2.8.1), a patch with a CHANGELOG entry.

Testing

• tsc; lint (no errors, only warnings already on main); vitest (673 passed); validate-content; build; check-try-links.
• New tests in e2e/tests/16-sponsored.spec.mjs:
  • the page's sections and links;
  • three packages, all "Contact for pricing", with no $, Stripe link, form or button;
  • the prefilled mailto;
  • /pro returning 308 to /advertise.
• 70-content-pages-nav no longer expects /pro.
• Against a local production build, specs 16, 70 and 95 gave 147 passed. The 4 failures are the localhost-only checks (production hostname, HSTS) that also fail on main locally.
