Adds plugins/agent-switchboard in the Cursor Plugin format (manifest, mcp.json with the public MCP URL, the site's logo, and a README listing every tool), registered by .cursor-plugin/marketplace.json as in Cursor's plugin template. tests/cursor-plugin.test.ts checks it against Cursor's submission checklist and keeps it in step with server.json, app/icon.svg and the tools /api/mcp lists. What kind of change?
content/agents/<slug>.jsonadded)What this does
Assaf approved listing Agent Switchboard in the Cursor Marketplace. The marketplace takes a public GitHub repo containing a plugin, which the Cursor team reviews by hand (plugins reference, "Submitting a plugin"). This PR adds that plugin, laid out like Cursor's official plugin template:
.cursor-plugin/marketplace.jsonat the repo root registers one plugin at./plugins/agent-switchboard. Keeping the plugin in its own folder stops Cursor's folder discovery from scanning the Next.js app at the repo root.plugins/agent-switchboard/.cursor-plugin/plugin.jsonsets the nameagent-switchboardand the display name, description, version 1.0.0, author, homepage, repository, MIT license, keywords and logo.plugins/agent-switchboard/mcp.jsonadds the public server,{"url": "https://agentswitchboard.dev/api/mcp"}. It needs no variables or secrets.plugins/agent-switchboard/assets/logo.svgis a copy ofapp/icon.svg: a square yellow tile, which fits the form's "1:1 SVG or PNG with background plate" rule.plugins/agent-switchboard/README.mdcovers usage, all seven tools, example prompts, organic results, privacy, help and licenses. It says the plugin is MIT and the catalog data is CC BY-NC 4.0, as MIT for code, CC BY-NC 4.0 for catalog data (2.8.1) #321 set out. The checklist requires a README.The plugin has no rules, skills, agents, commands or hooks. Users get the same server and tools as every other client.
Keeping it valid
tests/cursor-plugin.test.tschecks the manifests against Cursor's submission checklist: a kebab-case name, a description, a semver version, and relative paths with no... It also checks that the marketplace entry resolves to a folder with a manifest, and that the logo is committed. Three more checks keep the plugin in step with the site:mcp.jsonholds exactly the URL inserver.json;app/icon.svg;/api/mcplists.node scripts/validate-template.mjsfrom cursor/plugin-template), run at the repo root, reports "Validation passed". Its only warning is that there's nohooks/hooks.json, which is needed only when a plugin uses hooks.DISTRIBUTION.mdmarks the Cursor Marketplace as ready to submit. It also explains how to update the plugin and how to try it locally from~/.cursor/plugins/local.Checklist
