The LuckPerms bridge now also publishes the server's command list for the staff panel's new Commands tab: every registered command from the live command map, with its plugin, aliases, description, usage and permission, and whether each LuckPerms group's permissions allow it on this server.

Access is resolved by LuckPerms with the server's static context. Where LuckPerms has no node, Bukkit's non-op defaults decide, including children of default permissions, which is why LibsDisguises commands show as allowed for every rank. A command whose plain label belongs to another plugin is marked shadowed.

The bridge reads the list on the main thread a minute after starting, checks each minute and uploads to PUT /luckperms/plugin/commands when it changes or every ten minutes. It runs whenever the bridge publishes, so no config change is needed.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Server commands are now published alongside their plugin details, including aliases, descriptions, permissions and access checks for each group.
    • Command lists are refreshed when they change and periodically even when unchanged.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Failed command-list uploads are detected and retried, with recovery logging after service resumes.

The bridge now builds a command catalogue with group-based permission access and uploads it to the plugin commands endpoint. It checks for changes every minute and resends unchanged catalogues after ten minutes.

Group permission checks return true, false, or null for unresolved permissions. CommandCatalogue reads server command data on the main thread and builds ordered JSON containing commands, plugins, groups, defaults, and access results.

LuckPermsBridge reads and uploads catalogues, skips unchanged catalogues until the resend interval, and records failures and recovery. LuckPermsBridgeClient sends JSON with PUT and rejects responses unless ok is true.

The new staff-panel command list works in normal cases. However, one plugin registering a command with an empty prefix would stop the list from updating. This is a small fix that can be made before or shortly after merge.

Comment thread src/main/java/net/tfminecraft/tfmcweb/luckperms/CommandCatalogue.java Outdated
Paper wraps each Brigadier label afresh on every read of the command map,
so labels are now joined by owner and name: vanilla aliases by the node
they redirect to, plugin aliases by the aliases Paper lists on the main
label, and unlinked wrappers take the namespace of their namespaced copy.
Default permissions now win over a child set false elsewhere, as in
LuckPerms, and access reads the whole permission.

An alias list can outlive the alias when another command later takes the
label. A label now joins the command that lists it only when both are
Brigadier labels with the same executor or the same subcommands.
