Backend agent guidance preferred an unconfigured type checker and linked to guides absent from the checkout. Use the installed, CI-configured Mypy command and point contributors to the existing configuration, tests, and workspace contract map.
Document the locked workspace commands, destructive test-database fixtures, serial test execution, and the ownership/atomicity/tombstone semantics that sync changes must preserve.
Validation: the backend baseline passed 340 tests (two external auth smoke tests excluded), Ruff lint, and Mypy across 138 files. The staged diff passes whitespace checks. The additional workspace format check reports five pre-existing files needing formatting; those files are outside this documentation change.
