Unlink kicked channels from channel-list queries.
channel.kicked can reach MemberEventMiddleware for a cached channel, but this branch only clears ownCapabilities. Channel-list queries still match the channel through queries, and no list linker handles ChannelKickedEvent. The channel can therefore remain visible and selectable until a later refresh.

Close a channel screen that has no preceding navigation controller.
If ChatChannelVC is the navigation root or is presented without a navigation controller, this guard returns after a matching ChannelKickedEvent. The user remains on a channel screen after losing access. Handle these presentation states as well as the existing pop case.

What is the difference between this and MemberRemovedEvent? When should we use one or the other?

Is it really safe to do this locally? Shouldn't the server decide which capabilities the user has? What if a kicked user can still do something on channels depending on the customer? Something like a request to join or something

I don't think this is a good idea. The app should be responsble to handle what happens when a user is kicked off a channel. This is business logic, and it will depend on each app. Some apps will want to show a blocked UI; others will want the view to be dismissed. At most, this should be done on the demo app

🎯 Goal
Close the channel view when the current user loses access.
📝 Summary
ChannelKickedEvent, decoded from thechannel.kickedWebSocket eventownCapabilitieswhen the event arrives (after kicking there is no way to fetch channel data)ChatChannelVCpops the channel screen on the event; apps can overridehandleChannelAccessLost(_:)🛠 Implementation
MemberEventMiddlewaretherefore setsownCapabilitiesto[], so checks such ascanSendMessagefail for the stale channel.markReadfails with an unrecoverable backend error. Restoring the unread state made the channel screen mark the channel read again, in a loop.ChannelRepository.markReadnow skips the rollback whenapiError.unrecoverableis set.🎨 Showcase
