445-466: π Maintainability & Code Quality | π΅ Trivial | π€ Low valueFix the thread test. It contradicts the implementation and its own name.
The test is named
..._whenThread_doesNotNotifyChannelDismiss. The implementation does not postdismissChannelfor a thread view model. The inverted expectation is therefore correct. However, the comment on Line 464 says the channel view model posts the notification. This describes the other view model, not this one. Reword the comment to say that the thread view model does not post. The parent channel view model posts the notification and dismisses the thread. Also, the test does not create a parent channel view model. It cannot confirm that the thread closes.

Reject invalid history cutoffs before adding a member.
If someone pastes nonnumeric text into βDays of history,β Int(days) returns nil. The request then uses the same nil cutoff as an intentionally empty field, so the new member can see the full history instead of the requested limited history. Accept an empty field for full history. Require a valid, nonnegative day count for every nonempty field before calling addMembers. (getstream.io)

Replace the branch dependency with a version requirement before merge.
Both manifests track the moving branch fix/channel-kicked of stream-chat-swift. Builds are not reproducible. SwiftPM also rejects branch dependencies in tagged package releases. Merge stream-chat-swift PR #4340 first, then restore a release version requirement in both files.

Out of scope of course, just an idea. But our UIKit Demo App, could share some debug UIs with SwiftUI if we expose a library of some sort π€ Or we just wait for when UIKit and SwiftUI all live in the same repo

Just like on UIKit, I don't think this should be handled by the SDK. It can even break some existing customers UX
