Change and mathematical scope

Adds one source-pinned, reproducible supporting audit of PR #5545, plus a ceiling on repeating only its H1+H5→H6 edit. No new construction, κ gain, selected update or complete parent admission is claimed.

The contact moves the subtraction/sign on registers 341/345 to a full common chart. A separately written interpreter checks all 743 normalized endpoint rows, owned returns, source-read windows and complete before/after invoices. The exact paid delta is -18H1-18H5+18H6, with every productive target retained.

A new dense Gaussian-dyadic interpreter verifies every column of the three actual lowered rank-1/5/6 transports and their old-route/direct-route composition: 1,048,576 complex entries per mode, including absolute phase. It uses neither vendor state interpreter for matrix comparison. The pinned source compiler and credited literal chart/recipe descriptions are reused. NATIVE-PROOF.md states the conditional positive-width tensor/substitution implication, with exterior scalar coefficients kept outside tensor powers.

Even granting all 1,926 remaining global H5 jobs legal independent replacements without added cost, the frozen-target edit family has raw ceiling (.003106074473, .003106074474) and cannot fund .0033. CEILING.md gives the full model, monotonicity proof and broader rank-mass relaxation. This is not a ceiling on P104 or different paid-path changes.

The parent's other native maps, 265-axis routes, archived source generator, full precision/tape and compiler/58-outer-predicate conjunction were not independently replayed. Five framework assumptions remain; no independent human or proof-kernel acceptance is claimed.

Task and overlap

Canonical base and direct publication parent: 32890bc5de034ab8fc93ac88ead7279a6a416d04. Reviewed PR #5545 head: 18968423711fd902aaee1099979497d55603e1dc; predecessor PR #5544: e2a6cce2f9db5a2c5f9714f4b9e5292dd3a10581. Publication: b038f9d9b5cf0ce92184da909e57a3be476fc812.

Task scalar-to-moment, priority revision 7, changed scope / partial: explicit user-assigned verification and edit-family ceiling, rather than the original positive construction-gain gate. That gate is not claimed met. The author released scope and requested independent review. This publishes the checker behind our previously local-only focused handoff and adds native full-column validation.

PR #5544/#5545 retain authorship of the construction and complete claimed endpoint. Existing shared-chart/dual-ADD packages supply the general retiming method. Our #5546 concerns a different fixed-cut helper obstruction and is not consumed. Live PR/discussion checks found no newer overlapping successor in the bounded visible coverage; hidden/unpublished coverage is incomplete, so no exclusivity claim.

The byte-preserved capsule retains source data/context, exact checkers and outputs for authentication. Frozen author code is retained with its notices; it is not claimed as new work. Runtime executes only the new audit scripts, the credited prior interval engine and pinned canonical Clifford compiler/circuit definitions. No pending Git object, network, author-side price/native evaluator or workstation path is needed.

Validation

Python 3.12.3, standard library:

python3 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/p104-contact-independent-audit --check-only
python3 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/p104-contact-independent-audit
python3 -B scripts/check_research_commit.py --package research/p104-contact-independent-audit --check-source-history

Expected scientific marker: PASS_P104_CONTACT_INDEPENDENT_AUDIT.

  • Metadata and canonical pins passed. Exact published-commit byte/source-history preflight passed for 42 files. Remote tree equals the locally checked tree; canonical main is its direct parent.
  • Registered normal/optimized replay passed under the unchanged shared guard in 19.017 s / 94.82 MiB sampled peak, within 150 s / 512 MiB. Every scientific byte matches both frozen original outputs; zero exclusions.
  • A relocated read-only Git-free export with spaces in its path and empty PATH passed optimized replay in 9.468 s / 69.41 MiB. All 42 exported files stayed unchanged.
  • Native controls reject three phase-only errors invisible to signed Pauli tableaux, inverse children, wrong monomial boundaries and wrong declared ranks, plus two source-authentication faults. Contact controls reject one-sided retiming, wrong sign and an intervening source read.
  • Separate on-disk canonical-source and expected-receipt corruption controls fail before scientific subprocesses. The injected source exception was never imported.
  • The independent dense matrix engine is new; the interval engine and native compiler/definitions are credited reused code. Mode equality is reproducibility, not a second independent implementation. Hosted CI remains separate from these local checks.

The saved raw crossing is independently bracketed and the integer compiler grid is checked; this is not a fresh full parent funding proof. REVIEW.md records boundaries and original versus portable receipts.

Open next questions

See TASK.json and the seven-field HANDOFF.md.

  1. Independently validate one missing 265-axis physical caller/funding layer with explicit source/cost coverage; full parent admission remains the blocker.
  2. Nominate one broader chronological paid-path change with complete optimistic costs and one small falsifier. The broad regrouping relaxation is not a physical witness, and repeated H5 edits cannot reach .0033. Check live claims first.

The completed audit has stopped. This submission starts no further search and authorizes no merge or selected change.

Retain every productive target; no new kappa or full parent admission.

HANDOFF — reproducible P104 contact/native audit and scoped edit-family ceiling (no new κ)

Research discussion / PR / artifact: This PR and the complete public package are canonical. It supports #5545 and makes the previously local focused checks and ceiling inspectable and replayable.

Exact commit: Publication b038f9d9b5cf0ce92184da909e57a3be476fc812, directly based on canonical 32890bc5de034ab8fc93ac88ead7279a6a416d04. Reviewed source #5545 18968423711fd902aaee1099979497d55603e1dc; predecessor #5544 e2a6cce2f9db5a2c5f9714f4b9e5292dd3a10581. The vendored data, exact checkers and outputs are byte-pinned; no pending Git object or network is required.

What is established: Separate contact/endpoint/invoice checker; all 743 normalized rows and owned returns; unchanged targets and exact -18H1-18H5+18H6 paid delta. New dense exact native interpreter checks all columns of the actual rank-1/5/6 lowered maps and old/direct composition, including absolute phase: 1,048,576 complex entries per mode. Twelve native faults and two source corruptions reject, including phase-only faults with unchanged signed tableaux. The explicit replacement lemma tensors factorwise with scalar coefficients outside tensor powers. The frozen-target H1+H5→H6 repetition family has optimistic raw ceiling (.003106074473,.003106074474), below .0033; no P104-wide ceiling is claimed.

What remains uncertain: Other parent native maps, full 265-axis physical caller, archived-source regeneration, precision/tape and complete compiler/58-outer-predicate conjunction. Five source framework assumptions remain. Broad rank-mass packing is only a relaxation. No new funded κ, selected promotion or independent human/formal acceptance.

Smallest useful next task: After current overlap review, validate one missing parent physical-caller/funding layer, or nominate one genuinely broader chronological paid-path change with complete optimistic accounting and one small falsifier. This completed audit is stopped and reserves no new construction scope.

Reproduction command and expected runtime: Python 3.12/stdlib:
python3 -B scripts/research_package.py --package research/p104-contact-independent-audit.
Registered normal/optimized replay passed in 19.017 s / 94.82 MiB under the shared guard, cap 150 s / 512 MiB; full frozen-output equality and no exclusions. Git-free read-only optimized export with empty PATH passed in 9.468 s / 69.41 MiB, all 42 files unchanged. On-disk input and expected-receipt corruptions reject before science. Exact published-commit/source-history preflight passed for 42 files. Hosted CI is reported separately. Reused compiler/definitions and interval engine retain credit; mode equality is reproducibility, not a second implementation.

New focused audit, scoped ceiling and publication for Chris R/Clear1nsight with substantial OpenAI Codex assistance; Apache-2.0.
