Session-002 of the PLAN.md modernization assessed every open PR. Both remaining PRs predate the approved plan, are based on master revisions that have since moved on, and overlap with plan tasks that re-derive their ideas under measurement gates. Neither PR is being closed by automation - this issue records the assessment so wallstop can confirm the disposition.

PR #27 - "Minor perf improvements, parsing refactor + bug fixes" (dev/wallstop/better-docs)

• 30+ commits from Oct 2025, 514 files changed vs current master (~40k insertions), versioned 1.0.0-rc24.7 vs master 1.0.0-rc25.0.
• Contents by theme:
  1. Typed argument parser architecture: Runtime/CommandTerminal/Backend/Parsers/ (IArgParser, BoolArgParser, EnumArgParser, NumericArgParsers, UnityArgParsers, StaticMemberParser, CommandArgParserCommon).

Master's current architecture (with Various bug fixes #32/perf: command discovery scans the whole AppDomain with the materializing attribute API, and it runs on the first frame in the editor #36/Modernization: tooling carry-forward, disclosure, and AppDomain-scan-free command discovery (#36) #37 fixes) is the plan's baseline; the plan's staged tasks cover the valuable ideas: parsers/completers map to T08 (context-aware completion, Add Command Contextual Awareness #15) and T09 (typed command builder), backend lifecycle/runtime scope maps to T06. Landing the branch wholesale would violate the plan's "staged, reviewable tasks; no giant overhaul" rule and silently discard the perf: command discovery scans the whole AppDomain with the materializing attribute API, and it runs on the first frame in the editor #36 discovery fix's measurement work.

FlowLauncher-style bar toggled with shift+space: new TerminalState.OpenLauncher, TerminalControlTypes.ToggleLauncher, centered popup with configurable width/height/history/autocomplete sizing.
• Assessment: superseded by T10 (runtime quick-launch bar, Mini-Console #17), which the plan scopes as an in-game launcher with "next rendered frame" first-interaction gate, capture coverage (T04), and completion integration (T08). The PR's hotkey/state approach is useful prior art but is unaudited against the perf: command discovery scans the whole AppDomain with the materializing attribute API, and it runs on the first frame in the editor #36 discovery fix and current TerminalUI architecture.
• Disposition: recommend closing once wallstop confirms; T10 work should reference the PR's design when landing the real feature.
