Summary

This points packages/swift/TraverseEmbedder/Package.swift at the rebuilt swift-host-v0.14.0-4 xcframework, which includes #1619 (Spec 074 FR-003, #1615). It also adds the Swift package test that #1615's DoD requires.

  • In this binary the Swift host classifies guest traps by their typed wasmi trap code:
    • fuel exhaustion → RESOURCE_LIMIT (-4) / bridge_timeout;
    • a refused memory growth → -4 / bridge_resource_limit;
    • any other trap → -5 / bridge_trap.
  • New overBudgetInvocationReportsAStableTimeout (swift-testing) runs the bundled client_bridge.wasm with fuelPerInvocation: 64. That is enough to create the host (the ABI probe costs fuel; 32 and below fail at create), but initialize then throws TraverseBridgeError(status: -4, code: "bridge_timeout") instead of the old -5 / bridge_trap.
  • The release workflow published the artifact (run 37061502210) and pushed this branch. As before, it can't open PRs in this repo, so the PR is opened by hand.

Governing Spec

  • 136-native-embedder-publication
  • 074-swift-native-resource-control-certification

Project Item

Closes #1615 (the last DoD item: a Swift package test covering an over-budget invocation).
