Summary

  • replace podman stats CLI formatting and human-readable parsing with the versioned Libpod stats API over the rootful Unix socket
  • preserve CPU baseline and failure behavior while supporting Podman 4 aggregate and Podman 5 per-interface network stats
  • enable and validate podman.socket in agent installation and document the manual setup requirement

Verification

  • go test ./internal/container
  • all agent packages except internal/registryauth
  • go vet ./internal/container
  • CGO_ENABLED=0 GOOS=linux GOARCH=amd64 go build -o /tmp/techulus-agent-linux-amd64 ./cmd/agent
  • CGO_ENABLED=0 GOOS=linux GOARCH=arm64 go build -o /tmp/techulus-agent-linux-arm64 ./cmd/agent
  • bash -n web/public/setup.sh
  • git diff --check

Known unrelated failure

go test ./... remains red because internal/registryauth test TestManagerInstallDirtyAndPermissions fails on current main behavior and reproduces when run alone. This PR does not modify that package.
