Einhell — Genuine Power Tools & Garden Equipment

Full-stack e-commerce platform for genuine Einhell power tools, garden machinery, and the Power X-Change battery system. Built from a Claude Design handoff into a real Vite + React app with an Express/Prisma API.

Highlights

• Frontend — Vite + React SPA: catalog, shop with filters, product pages, cart, multi-step checkout, quote requests, customer dashboard, admin dashboard.
• Backend — Express + Prisma + SQLite REST API: JWT auth, server-side order pricing, stock decrement, admin order/quote status workflow, supertest tests.
• i18n — French (default), English, and Arabic with right-to-left support.
• Security — helmet, auth rate-limiting, CORS lock, env validation.

# Terminal 1 — API
cd einhell-platform/server
cp .env.example .env        # then edit if needed
npm install
npm run setup               # create + seed the database
npm run dev                 # http://localhost:4000

# Terminal 2 — frontend
cd einhell-platform
npm install
npm run dev                 # http://localhost:5173
