Summary

Three passes over every hand-written page on docs.stuntdouble.io. The pages were checked against the current product. The live site had 11 near-empty pages, and these are now filled. Each topic now has one canonical page.

1. Accuracy against the product

  • Concepts, getting started and the first actor tutorial:
    • the new onboarding (from a URL to a first run)
    • the project overview
    • actor personality and the four knowledge kinds
    • Ideas (formerly insights), topology and devices
  • Tutorials:
    • checklist templates and On failure
    • UMUX scoring and shareable reports
    • Issues triage
    • the stepped automation dialog
    • design review tabs
  • Devices: there is no admin switch any more. The Mac app is on every paid plan, and private URLs need Startup.
  • Live sessions are labelled early access.
  • Integrations:
    • the Plugins and Platform sections
    • Figma file webhooks
    • the Figma plugin's current tabs and connect flow
    • Slack channels
    • Vercel's run targets
  • The Index now has its current categories, badges and reports.
  • StuntKit:
    • spelling is now Localeizer, at /stuntkit/localeizer (old paths redirect)
    • wao 2.1

2. Empty pages filled
The MCP client pages were each a single snippet split from the stuntdouble-mcp README.

  • scripts/generate.mjs now merges hand-written notes from content/mcp-clients/<slug>.mdx around that snippet. The snippet stays sourced from the README.
  • Each page now covers when to pick that client, sign-in, how to check the connection works, and troubleshooting. Each was checked against that client's own docs.

3. One job per page, no duplication

  • Page roles:
    • Integrations pages are the reference: connect, settings, scopes, troubleshooting.
    • Tutorials run a task once.
    • Guides cover when and why.
    • Concepts only define.
  • The feedback widget, Figma, Slack, devices and desktop app, and MCP clusters no longer repeat each other's setup.
  • Added:
    • runs that need a person
    • the interview setup flow
    • Cursor Origin
    • GitHub and Vercel trigger references
    • the Mac app menus
    • an API page that maps every programmatic surface

Fixes found along the way

  • Interviews never had "real people" participants.
  • New automations are active as soon as they're created.
  • The Linear automation trigger no longer starts anything. It is removed from the docs, and the product still offers it.
  • /index-ranking links were sent to the marketing site; fixed in src/lib/links.ts, with a test.
  • The ConceptMap link to /concepts#insights was broken.
  • Several Figma, feedback widget and Vercel labels and defaults were wrong.

Not covered here

  • The actor-create and dashboard screenshots likely show the old Overview tab and project home.
  • The stuntdouble-mcp README is stale in a few places:
    • it is missing request_index_score, summarise_feedback, flag_check_verdict and get_payment_summary
    • the Claude and ChatGPT menu paths, the Cursor redirect URI and Windsurf's rename to Devin Desktop are out of date
  • The product still lists Linear as an automation trigger.

Checks

pnpm test, pnpm type-check and pnpm build pass. There are no em dashes, and every internal link and anchor resolves.

Audit every hand-written page against the current product and fix what
had drifted since the October restructure:

- Concepts, getting started and first actor: the new onboarding (URL to
first run), the redesigned project overview, actor personality and the
four knowledge kinds, Ideas (formerly insights), topology and devices.
Interviews use actor or generated participants, never real people.
- Tutorials: checklist templates and failure modes, UMUX scoring and
shareable round reports, Issues triage in place of auto insights, the
stepped automation dialog, feedback summaries, design review tabs.
- Devices and the desktop app: no admin switch any more, the Devices page,
the actor Browser tab, borrowing a device for internal sites, and plan
rules (Mac app on every paid plan, private URLs from Startup).
- Live sessions: model choice, summaries, early access status.
- Integrations: Plugins and Platform sections, Figma file webhooks for
automations, the Figma plugin's current tabs and connect flow, Slack
channels and default channel, Vercel run targets and bypass secrets.
- MCP connect: per-client links, on-demand tools, the no-account Index
  endpoint and scope behaviour.
- Index: current categories and methodology, badges, reports, MCP tile.
- StuntKit: spelling is now Localeizer (route moved, old paths redirect),
  wao 2.1, browser-toolset examples.

Each client page was only the README's setup snippet. The generator now
reads content/mcp-clients/<slug>.mdx and places the snippet under an
'Add the server' heading where the note asks for it, so sign-in, checks
and troubleshooting can live beside the config without forking it.

Graphify reviewed this change.

No issues found by static checks — no coupling regressions or blocking issues in the code graph. That is not the same as safe to merge: see what was not checked.

Not checked: tests were not run; no formal proof of the changed code.

Graphify review — findings

Rewrites the concepts and quickstart docs to match the current product: issues, ideas, topology and devices replace the old "Insight" concept, and onboarding now starts from a product URL that generates actors and checklists. Actors are described with personality sliders, a four-type knowledge model and email as their only channel, while interviews and live sessions pick up persona participants, UMUX scoring and early-access labelling. Merging the old "Insights" and "Issues and goals" sections into "Issues, goals and ideas" changes their heading anchors, so existing deep links to those sections can stop resolving.

Review partial — this diff was larger than one review pass covers, so later files were not reviewed; some findings may be missing.

Analysis details — impact, health, verification

Impact & health

Graphify review

Impact — 336 functions depend on the 336 functions this change touches.

Health — grade A; no new coupling hotspots.

Verification — 336 functions in the blast radius were not formally verified this run (proofs are advisory here).

Gate & verification

graphify gate

PASS — objectively clean (no health regressions, tests not run — proofs not run this pass (advisory)). Grounded, not self-assessed.

Advisory (not blocking):

  • verification_scope: 336 function(s) in the blast radius were not formally verified this run

The 11 MCP client pages were a single setup snippet each. Each now has
notes in content/mcp-clients: when to pick that client, how sign-in works
there, how to check it is connected, and client-specific troubleshooting,
checked against each client's own docs. The edit footer links the notes.

A second pass removed repeats across sections, keeping each topic on one
canonical page and linking to it from the others:
- Integrations pages are the reference (connect, settings, scopes,
  troubleshooting); tutorials run a task once and link out for setup;
guides cover when and why; concepts only define.
- Feedback widget, Figma, Slack, devices and the desktop app no longer
repeat setup across their guide, tutorial and integration pages.
- MCP: connect covers in-app setup and endpoints, client pages cover each
client, the tutorial covers what to do once connected, and the API page
  maps every programmatic surface.
- Added what was missing: runs that need a person, interview setup,
Cursor Origin, GitHub and Vercel trigger references, the Mac app menus.
- Removed the Linear automation trigger, which no longer starts runs.
- Fixed /index-ranking links, which were sent to the marketing site, and
  the ConceptMap link to /concepts#insights.
