Hi @kgryte,
I鈥檓 not sure if this is the right place to suggest something like this, so sorry if this kind of comment is not appropriate here.
Previously I needed to work on a signal processing project using JavaScript, so I searched to see if stdlib-js had some functions that could help me. However, I discovered that many useful DSP functions I needed don't exist in stdlib. I think the most important DSP functions I'm talking about include FFT, convolution, correlation, different filter types (like band-pass, band-reject, low-pass, high-pass), window functions (like Hann, Hamming, Blackman), and many other basic functions like sum, subtract, multiply, delay, and reverse for signals.
I'm not sure if all these functions are actually missing or not but if they are I would recommend starting work on them
@Planeshifter can you please take a look at wald variance pr #9730?
Comments on issue #10174
Shouldn't the pr #10194 resolving #10174 also update manifest.json files accordingly?
I鈥檇 like to get some comments on the changes I made to this PR as directed by Athan last week.
I have been working on this RFC and am wondering if this work can be automated with a script. Would you recommend that I look into this further or is it a waste of time?
I am working on this LAPACK routine. It returns a double precision value, should the JS implementation return it as a Float64Array with single element or take input a vector out along with stride and offset and then put the return value there. I am a bit confused.
I was working on the implementation of math/base/special/boxcoxf math function, which has a dependency on expm1f, but it is not yet implemented in the stdlib. But a similar function expm1 already exists. My question is whether expm1f can be implemented by simply wrapping the double-precision expm1, which is already done in math/base/special/cosm1f? I also found this resource, which could help in the implementation of expm1f by porting the FreeBSD float32 implementation directly. Which approach is best suited for the implementation of expm1f?
Proposal to add a dependency tree diagram structure for showing which packages( JS /C/Fortran implementation status ) depends on what other packages.
(OPTIONAL) add a CI type workflow which checks and updates the status of the package within the diagram.
Some questions on how ML algos in Web will work:
is it possible to use memory mapped array for loading some data chunk in ram then train the model and discard , all this via a browser tab?
Can we use GPU for training ML models via Browser?
