🙌 Thanks I'd like to give

    • Shout out to @anandkaranubc for working on the ULP difference utilities.

    ✅ Updates from last week

🔭 My plan for the current week

    • I would like to have a full end-to-end top-level ndarray Z-test package implemented in order to prove out the struct design.
    • PR review.

🙏 Challenges that I've faced and things I'd like help with

    • Mainly in determining technical approach, but working on the end-to-end prototype is helping suss out sharp edges.

🏝️ My availability for next week

    • I'll be traveling next week due to the July 4 US holiday, so may have limited availability.

    💬 Important items for discussion

    • Nothing atm.

...and shoutout to @Planeshifter for all the PR reviews. We are, at the time of this comment, about to dip under 400 open PRs for the first time in what feels like forever! 😅

LET'S GOOOOO 🚀! I see exactly 400 PRs once gammainc gets merged 🙃

    @anandkaranubc

🙌 Thanks I'd like to give

    • Thanks to @kgryte for the guidance on the ULP difference utilities.
    • Also, thanks to @Planeshifter for reviewing my PRs!

    ✅ Updates from last week

    • I worked on cosm1f, haversinf, secf, vercosf, versinf, and number/float64/base/ulp-difference, all of which got merged.
    • I also worked on the C implementation of gammainc. Once it's approved, I might update the JS implementation to match the latest Boost implementation, if time allows.

🔭 My plan for the current week

    • I’ll create some good first issues for math/base/special
    • Start working on assertion utilities using ULP difference
    • Prioritize the new rounding utilities. Sorry @aayush0325 for the delay.
    • If there’s time, I’ll go back to implementing sinpif and cospif

🙏 Challenges that I've faced and things I'd like help with

    • Learning about ULP was a good challenge and a great learning experience last week!

🏝️ My availability for next week

    • I’ll be unavailable on Tuesday and Wednesday because of the GSoC meetup. I might not be able to attend the office hours but will try my best to drop in if I can.

    💬 Important items for discussion

    • Nothing at the moment!

    Thanks for reading!

🙌 Thanks I'd like to give

    • @kgryte, for reviewing my pre-GSoC PRs as well as correcting mistakes over there, and also finding some issues that persisted before, too.
    • @aman-095, for guidance and reviewing my PR, hoping that we will speed up the process.
    • Hats off to @Planeshifter, for rapid and precise PR reviews, and I see that PR counts are decreasing swiftly.

    ✅ Updates from last week

🔭 My plan for the current week

    • I plan on working on...
      • Complete blas/base/ssyr2k by tomorrow, with this, I will wrap up the implementation for level 3 real packages
      • Refactoring some of the previous PRs on BLAS
      • Moving back to level 2 complex packages

🙏 Challenges that I've faced and things I'd like help with

    • There was no such time this week; the implementations were quite straightforward for me.

    ✅ Updates from last week

🔭 My plan for the current week

    • Carrying over from last week, this week I'll first focus on implementing double and generic counterparts of sindex-of since it is now merged 🎆

    • Hopefully adding the remaining tests for ndarray/base/some-by and ndarray/base/every-by won't require much time 🤞🏻
    • Implementing ndarray/index-of would be an ambitious goal but I'll try to at least implement a draft implementation given the above goals are achieved 🤞🏻
