[structure view] new diff feature shows changed nodes for new projects when there is nothing new

Sometimes, the new diff feature inside of the logical structure view shows the nodes of the categories as changed even though there is nothing below that is actually changed. Seems like to be the case when opening a new project that has a clean git state.
