Travis CI no longer builds this project, so the "Build Status" badge in the README is dead.
This removes the badge and its link definitions from
README.mdand from.readme.tmpl(the templateREADME.mdis generated from, so regeneration does not bring the badge back). The rest of the README is unchanged.Created by a Sourcegraph agentic batch change.
