Stacked on #45.

This branch drops workarounds of #45 by using newer upstream:

scripts/upstream-snapshot.sh builds mill-scalablytyped from the pinned commit and installs it in ~/.ivy2/local. It no longer builds Mill from source. CI runs it in every job and caches ~/.ivy2/local/com.github.lolgab by the script's hash. The script RETIRES with the mill-scalablytyped release.

Removed:

Added:

  • dapr4s-wasm-linker_2.13 (wasm.linker is now a 2.12/2.13 cross module), because Mill's Scala.js worker loads a 2.13 linker.

dapr-wasm-components 0.7.5 (upstream compose.sh at the v0.7.5 tag pulls the providers under their new OCI names) comes from #44, merged in through #45.

Do not release from this branch while it loads an unreleased mill-scalablytyped.

Consumer: sideeffffect/dapr4s-examples#5 pins this branch (mill-dapr4s-wasm 3.0.0+44-1493515a-SNAPSHOT).

… their workarounds

Mill 1.3.0-18-28026a (main + com-lihaoyi/mill#7783, which contains #7786) and
mill-scalablytyped 0.4.1-7-ba56bf (lolgab/mill-scalablytyped#50 + #51 + #52),
built from pinned commits by scripts/upstream-snapshot.sh (CI runs it in every
job, cached by the script's hash).

Retired: Scala3JsTests (#7786), build-tools/st-gen and npmInstall (the
ScalablyTyped plugin with scalablyTypedStdLibs/NpmCi/OutputPackage),
ScalaWasmModule's per-task overrides (scalaJSOrganization) and the WasmLink
component link driver (ModuleKind.WasmComponent in Mill's fastLinkJS). The
patched linker is now also published as dapr4s-wasm-linker_2.13 for Mill's
Scala.js worker.

The flat ghcr.io/sideeffffect/dapr-wasm-components-<module> packages were
deleted on 2026-10-15; upstream compose.sh still pulls them. Pull
dapr-wasm-components/wasi-http-{outbound,inbound}:0.7.2 and pass them by path.

lolgab/mill-scalablytyped#50 is merged. The snapshot (branch dapr4s-snapshot
of sideeffffect/mill-scalablytyped) is now upstream main + #51 + #52,
version 0.4.1-9-393207.

com-lihaoyi/mill#7783 is merged and its fork branch deleted, which broke the
snapshot script's fetch. Build Mill from the upstream merge commit 56dcdf01
(version 1.3.0-20-56dcdf) instead; no Mill unstable release on Central
contains it yet.

com-lihaoyi/mill#7783 and lolgab/mill-scalablytyped#50 are merged. Use the
same Mill as dapr4s (1.3.0-20-56dcdf) and pin the dapr4s commit fdcd67a of
sideeffffect/dapr4s#47 (3.0.0+42-fdcd67a2-SNAPSHOT).

Mill 1.3.1 is released with com-lihaoyi/mill#7783 and #7786, so the build runs on it
(header `mill-version: 1.3.1`, no `-jvm` launcher cache). scripts/upstream-snapshot.sh
now builds only mill-scalablytyped: main (with #50 + #51) + #52, 0.4.1-14-c21896.
CI no longer caches ~/.cache/mill/download or ~/.ivy2/local/com.lihaoyi.
