Rename Connection and Device to their platform-specific variants - #403

This is the first step toward converting these two types to an `enum`. The types are re-exported at the root using the `Connection` and `Device` names and also into the `tests.rs` file which is included in an odd way for each backend. Signed-off-by: Martin Robinson <martin@abandonedwig.info>
