Summary

  • Add the article at /grok-bots/ as plain HTML with a responsive CSS diagram of Michael's twenty bots.
  • Focus on how Michael uses the assistants: inbox cleanup, decisions, PR follow-up, support investigations, and scope reduction—not Grok Bot's platform mechanics.
  • Latest edit preserves the first lesson and replaces only the next two:
    1. Stop noise at the source.
    2. I need decisions, not status dumps.
    3. Sometimes the useful answer is to do less.
  • Keep the closing line exactly: And yes, Switchboard wrote this article
  • No framework, JavaScript, package manager, or build step. Homepage unchanged; article remains unlinked from it.

Editorial grounding

The earlier review checked the available roster, briefs, bot conversations, Slack activity, and Linear examples. For the new lessons, reviewed the relevant Sieve, Switchboard, Bottleneck, Stamp, Chisel, Nanny, and Foreman conversations/briefs:

  • Sieve's instruction to stop noise at the source and remove redundant cleanup rules.
  • Switchboard's consolidated briefing, Bottleneck's one-priority brief, and Michael's request to take Stamp's review decisions one at a time.
  • Michael's request for Chisel to cut projects back to what is critical, including questioning whether that work is needed.

These are grounded in owner requests, not invented productivity metrics or a guarantee of every bot run's behavior. No private project details, transcripts, credentials, or research files are included in the site. No bot configuration or external application records were changed.

Validation

Latest commit: 552a8117e1240945b1647250abbd5d2676a4a62b.

  • Asserted that only the two requested lesson paragraphs changed; the first lesson, rest of the article, and closing attribution are byte-for-byte unchanged.
  • Real preview HTTP response: 200 and byte-for-byte source match.
  • Chromium light/dark at 390 and 1440px: exact three lesson headings and closing line, no document overflow, scripts, or runtime errors.
  • git diff --check passes. No automated PR checks are configured.
  • Layout, diagram, keyboard navigation, and no-JavaScript rendering were checked in the preceding full-site passes; this commit changes only copy.
  • Not tested in Safari/Firefox, with a screen reader, or on physical devices. Proof files are outside Git.

Preview / publication

Approved by Michael, merged, and deployed October 15, 2026. Merge commit: 5a4b7f4d18a4f1cd7622d035012bf40febfe6ec2.

Live article: https://redreceipt.github.io/grok-bots/

GitHub Pages deployment passed. Live HTTP 200 responses for the article, shared stylesheet, and homepage match the approved source byte-for-byte. /grok-bots redirects to /grok-bots/ as intended.

The local preview server intentionally remains running at Michael's request:
http://127.0.0.1:8000/grok-bots/

Use the page layout so the long post renders in the monospace theme.
The title stays in front matter, so it is not printed twice.
