Removed the news entry in 094cf3e. The PR is now only the configure.ac change and the regenerated configure.

Most changes to Python require a NEWS entry. Add one using the blurb_it web app or the blurb command-line tool. If this change has little impact on Python users, wait for a maintainer to apply the |

I merged your change, thanks. I don't think that it's worth it to backport it to 3.14 and 3.15 branches. Note: the option is documented at https://docs.python.org/dev/using/configure.html#envvar-CXX. |
