Reduce wrapper allocation in collection traversal, membership, and generated protobuf field access. Preserve live list sizes, iterator cursor semantics, custom collection contracts, and dynamic-message fallback. Keep hashes consistent across CEL numeric types, normalize unsigned protobuf fields without sign extension, and preserve Java map equality and extension compatibility. Add collection, iterator, generated-field, and public API regression coverage plus benchmarks.
Introduce allocation-free activation lookup and shared numeric comparison semantics. Extract established planner, dispatcher, activation, and evaluation implementations from public interfaces, update implementation references, and isolate supplier memoization and partial-pattern arrays in activation-owned state.
Evaluate eligible checked scalar expressions without intermediate Val wrappers. Preserve established fallback for incompatible adapters, overloads, and decorators; compose native islands with built-in constant folding and retain differential, root-shape, policy, and public API coverage.
Introduce exact aggregate adapters and protobuf/Jackson field sources together with their final list and map consumers. Support concatenation, indexing, membership, equality, traversal, and eligible nested object quantifiers while preserving construction order, exceptional values, and established fallback. Include differential tests, planner-shape checks, microbenchmarks, and smoke coverage.
Use an explicit Java or RE2 engine for standard matches() calls and compile eligible literal patterns during planning. Preserve error timing, short-circuit behavior, custom overload fallback, and native/established parity.
Snapshot mapper configuration, discover recursive schemas transactionally, and support arrays consistently with runtime adaptation. Reject unsupported CEL map key types and retain configured discovery, copy-isolation, native-plan, and ScriptHost regression coverage for Jackson 2 and 3.
Return parse issues without checking invalid ASTs, freeze environment configuration on first check, and isolate registry, source, unknown-provenance, and evaluation state. Register complete protobuf descriptor dependencies consistently and introduce immutable, reusable ScriptCompiler configuration with lifecycle and concurrency regression coverage.
Declare the supported protobuf 3 dependency range and align generation, conformance loading, and Quarkus compatibility coverage. Update published SCM metadata, BOM contents, coverage configuration, and release support policy; runtime descriptor registration fixes are included with registry lifecycle.
Add host, protobuf, and Jackson workload fixtures with lifecycle tests and explicit exact-native, established, general, direct, and dev.cel comparison controls. Keep workload and comparison benchmark setup together using the established protobuf 3 compatibility alias.
Add configurable parsing, compilation, and evaluation limits with cancellable operations and consistent abort propagation. Instrument both established and native execution, constant folding, collection handling, and ScriptCompiler/Script APIs; include resource-controller, lifecycle, and cancellation tests.
Refresh Javadocs for existing APIs and packages. Add user guides and architecture, integration, configuration, and compatibility documentation for the complete library.
