CodexCommander’s managed delegation guidance now matches workers to task complexity, uncertainty, risk, and the available verification. It preserves inherited model defaults, only permits fresh compatible overrides allowed by the live tool contract, and reassesses choices from evidence rather than timeout alone. The generated global block and public documentation carry the same policy.
Prepares version 0.1.7 for the first update from the numbered 0.1.6 bootstrap. Installation documentation distinguishes the original unnumbered 0.1.6 archive (manual bootstrap required) from updater-enabled numbered builds. The existing updater behavior is unchanged.
Validation: all 623 test files passed with
bun run test:parallel;bun run typecheck,bun run privacy:scan, the 31 focused delegation template tests, documentation frozen install and 44-page build, andgit diff --checkpassed.Sequence: merge only after the numbered 0.1.6 bootstrap is published and installed for the requested update test.
