What and why

Release preparation for v1.14.0. Since v1.13.0 there are 19 commits with unreleased features: I checked that none of the pep package, socrate.Client.Decide or jwtauth AuthTime/AMR exist at the v1.13.0 tag. There are also the toolchain move to Go 1.27.1, the Apache-2.0 licence, the contributor kit and the documentation uplift.

  • [Unreleased] moves under ## [1.14.0] - 2026-09-29, with a release summary.
  • Link references: [1.14.0] compares v1.13.0...v1.14.0, and [Unreleased] compares v1.14.0...HEAD.
  • README install example: go get …@v1.14.0 and require … v1.14.0.

How it was tested

  • Docs only; go build/vet unaffected.
  • The new section contains exactly the entries that were under [Unreleased].

Compatibility

Minor release on v1: no exported identifier removed or changed.

After merging, tag: git tag -a v1.14.0 -m "backendkit v1.14.0" && git push origin v1.14.0. The Release workflow publishes the GitHub release.

Move [Unreleased] under [1.14.0] - 2026-09-29 with a release summary,
leave an empty [Unreleased], add the 1.14.0 compare link and point
[Unreleased] at v1.14.0...HEAD, and bump the README install example
(go get / require) to v1.14.0.
