The SubOS broker in openxlings/xlings#641 needs to load recipes and run hooks in a restricted worker. The current factory and metadata loader execute top-level Lua in the caller before a hook can be isolated.
Add optional execution boundaries for persistent executor operations, recipe metadata loading and index building. A deferred executor performs no local Lua load and delegates every action, retaining the existing cumulative effects and hook context contract. An absent or failed boundary returns an error without falling back to local Lua. Existing overloads retain their behavior for current consumers.
Version: 0.0.61. The client integration and worker transport are in openxlings/xlings#641; this library introduces no JSON or platform transport dependency.
Validation:
mcpp buildwith LLVM 22.1.8 andmcpp test --toolchain gcc@16.1.0 --message-format jsonpassed locally (4 test programs). New cases cover deferred top-level execution, persistent Lua state, cumulative effects, refreshed context, metadata and index builder delegation, and failure without fallback.
