Decide Groovy Sandbox library to use #2850

Closed

Description

@ebariaux

We're currently using craftercms/groovy-sandbox: Fork of https://github.com/jenkinsci/groovy-sandbox as the dependency for Groovy sandbox.
The version we're using is an older version but even the current version doesn't seem to be maintained very well (e.g. not compatible with Groovy 5).

This is a fork of jenkinsci/groovy-sandbox: (Deprecated) Compile-time transformer to run Groovy code in a restrictive sandbox which is not maintained anymore.

There are changes in both the original (that do not seem to be imported in the fork) and in the fork.

Decide if we want to create our own fork and which repo to use as base.

    I have merged your PR in the groovy-sandbox repository that you've created 👍
    I can't be the judge of "whether this is the Groovy Sandbox library to use", so not sure whether to close this issue.
    Especially since I haven't been involved in any discussions about it. (if there were any)

    Maybe you can be the judge @ebariaux of who can follow-up this issue, and who can decide whether this is the right step.
    I'll add the discuss label to keep track.

    The plan looks good and I see issues relating to the plan in the fork repo so closing this as done
