This bump makes typescript incompatible with the declared peer range of ts-jest@29.4.6 (>=4.3 <6 in pnpm-lock.yaml), and this package is actively used by the Jest preset in both workspaces. With this change, installs/tests will run with an unsupported compiler version, which can cause test transform failures or unstable behavior in CI until ts-jest is upgraded to a TS6-compatible release.
