FDD Types

Matheus C. Santos edited this page Jan 17, 2015 · 2 revisions

There are tree types of FDDs:

  • Basic datasets (FDD)
  • Indexed datasets (indexedFdd<K,T>)
  • Grouped FDD (groupedFdd)

The available types for T and K are:

  • T : int, long, float, double, vector, string
  • K : int, long, float, double, string

In order to transform a FDD into a indexedFdd, the programmer can use any map function available. Although, to crate groupedFdds, the cogroup function must be used. Here is an example of how a FDD can be transformed into an indexedFdd.

pair<int,int> myMap (string v){
	return make_pair(atoi(v), v.length());
}

int main (int argc, char ** argv){

	...

	FDD<string> * data = new FDD<string>();

	indexedFdd<int,int> data2 = data->map(&myMap);
}
