For modapi 0.4.0 (moderation-api/cli#14). init now links an existing project or creates one. Without a terminal, it stops and lists the organization's projects unless it gets --project or --new.

Changes to moderation-api-setup

  • Step 1: install or upgrade to modapi 0.4.0 or later. Homebrew is listed first.
  • Step 2, the plan: a new item, "The project". The agent lists the user's projects with modapi projects list -o json (after modapi login if needed) and asks which to use, or whether to create a new one. It must not pick one itself.
  • Step 3, now "Link or create the project":
    • modapi init --project "<id or name>" to link a project the user has.
    • modapi init --new … (the old command plus --new) to create one.
    • What the validation_error with the project list means, and that linking makes a new key named after the computer and directory.
  • The description says "link or create the project".

references/sdk-snippets.md is unchanged.

modapi 0.4.0 links an existing project or creates one. Without a terminal,
init stops and lists the organization's projects unless --project or --new
is given, so the plan now includes which project to use, and step 3 shows
both commands. The install step names the minimum version and Homebrew.
