Summary

  • Select Foundation main in the pipeline-runner requirement and development source table.
  • Remove stale engine v0.22.0 overrides from the root and public-agent adapter. Current binding source is already version 0.23.0.
  • Correct installation documentation to require explicit immutable release resolution of both agent package roles and Foundation/tool-delegate.

Prerequisite

Requires the coordinated amplifier-agent main binding/engine dependency update on branch fix/main-foundation-dependency-chain in microsoft/amplifier-agent to merge first. Without it, binding main still selects released engine metadata holding Foundation 21ad50f, and this source change alone cannot resolve that conflict.

Verification

  • Five changed metadata files across the coordinated change parse; git diff --check passes.
  • No installation/runtime or test success is claimed. Optional review/test expansion was explicitly waived for expedited shipping.
  • Existing committed development locks are historical snapshots, not proof of the newly selected release graph; release compilation must freeze all selected source roles together.

Checklist

  • No pipeline execution or canonical spec behavior changes.
  • Scope limited to dependency source policy and corresponding documentation.
  • Runtime and complete dependency installation qualification (not run).
