Asking because #8675 landed DuckDB under this issue as "an additional independent connector", which looks like the intended way to add one without disturbing the Oracle and SQL Server work.
One thing that may just be stale bookkeeping: #4168 marks Pinecone, Chroma and Weaviate complete and this issue marks FAISS complete, but none of the four is present on main — git ls-tree origin/main python/packages/ shows azure-ai-search, azure-cosmos, azure-documentdb, duckdb, mongodb, postgres, qdrant, redis and sql-server. Were those dropped deliberately, or are the boxes just out of date?
If any of them is wanted and unclaimed, I'm happy to build it to the shape of #8675. No rush, and I won't start until you say which, if any.
(On Nvidia: the package is written and tested. I'm holding it until your Gemini PR is up so the options surface and the feature index match yours rather than diverge.)

Eduard van Valkenburg (@eavanvalkenburg) — following the Nvidia hand-off on #4171, is there another connector here you'd like taken?
