   Understood: part 1 of a split of #9668. In pr-merge, the babysit merge, risk and verify-evidence scripts should stop reading a work class for any refusal, hold or MED/HIGH score. The untrusted-provenance hold stays, as a plain label check. The done-when is specific and checkable from the code. Nothing is missing. I found no likely duplicates in the open issues beyond the parent #9668.

    Re-triage: closing. This issue's single done-when line was already met when intake split it from #9668. #9699 (merge 58188c2b1c, merged 2026-10-25T14:13Z) built it. The split ran on 2026-10-26 and copied the line without checking main.

    Criterion: "In pr-merge (babysit_merge*.py, babysit_risk.py, babysit_verify_evidence.py) no refusal, hold or MED/HIGH score reads a work class; the untrusted-provenance hold stays as a label check that reads no work class." The evidence on origin/main:

    • git grep -n -i -E "work-class|workClass|work_class|lane_class" over babysit_merge.py, babysit_merge_policy.py, babysit_merge_prefilter.py, babysit_merge_skip.py, babysit_risk.py and babysit_verify_evidence.py finds hits only in babysit_merge_policy.py, and none of them decides anything:
      • :1723-1724 and :6022: work_class is reported as workClass only ("Reported as workClass only; nothing decides on it").
      • :3174: LANE_CLASS = "C2", documented as "report data only, read from no label and deciding nothing".
      • :103 and :1837-1839: the work-class: untrusted-provenance label check, which returns untrusted-provenance / untrusted-provenance-removed-by-non-human. This is the trust hold the 2026-10-26 decision on #9668 keeps: "the untrusted-provenance hold stays as a label check that reads no work class".
    • babysit_risk.py and babysit_verify_evidence.py have no work-class read. feat(source-control): stop pr-merge gating on work class #9699 removed the class-missing, class-above-rung, class-contradicted and blast-radius-missing MED reasons and the work_class field of RiskInput.

    #10237 (part 2) holds the remaining reads outside pr-merge.
