NOTICE: new core published, old core now in "hitari2014-mercurial" branch

There is a new core published today, it will be available on the buildbot later on in the day.

It is based on Hatari v2.6.1 and it is a clean rebasing on upstream.

The old mercurial branch is still available however:

• it is in a branch called "hatari2014-mercurial"
• it is published on RetroArch frontend still - it is called "Hatari 2014".

The new core is published on the RetroArch frontend as "Hatari".

Please make new PRs to the new core under the main branch.

Not all functionality from the old core made it to the new one, so PRs are very welcome.

Any issues with the new core, open a new issue and post a log 👍

Any plan to keep the previous version available as an older hatari-2014 or something? Switching to newer hatari will also make the core a lot heavier as it will use a much more demanding cpu emulation. AFAIK newer hatari mostly improved on TT/Falcon emulation, more accurate CPU etc.

@metallic77 2014 is available on the frontend. Delicate care was taken to ensure that. It should show up as Hatari 2014. What platform are you running on?
