Summary

Follow-up to #444. The ldai module now lives at launchdarkly/go-server-sdk-ai. Its final release from this repository was ldai/v0.9.4, which carries a // Deprecated: notice in go.mod. Verified published:

this module has moved to github.com/launchdarkly/go-server-sdk-ai.

This PR removes the code.

What stays in ldai/

• README.md — rewritten to a short pointer: the new import path, and a note that version numbering continues at 0.10.0 in the new repo.
• CHANGELOG.md — kept as-is, preserving the 0.1.0–0.9.4 history. The new repo's changelog starts at 0.10.0.

All ldai/v* tags stay in place. Existing consumers are unaffected — the proxy copies are immutable, and keeping the tags also covers anyone on GOPROXY=direct or vendoring from source. The older versions are deliberately not retracted; retraction would tell Go there is no usable version and could break @latest resolution.

What is removed

• ldai/*.go, ldai/datamodel/, ldai/judge/, ldai/go.mod, ldai/go.sum, ldai/LICENSE.txt (the root LICENSE.txt now covers the directory)
• .github/workflows/ldai-ci.yml
• .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/bug_report--ldai.md, .github/ISSUE_TEMPLATE/feature_request--ldai.md
• release-please-config.json — the ldai package block
• .release-please-manifest.json — the ldai entry
• Makefile — ALL_BUILD_TARGETS, the ldai/ldai-test/ldai-lint targets, the bump-min-go-version line, and the go work use ./ldai member
• CONTRIBUTING.md — the ldai/go.mod mention

One deliberate non-removal

"ldai" stays in the root package's exclude-paths in release-please-config.json. With ldai/go.mod gone, that directory is now part of the root module, so without the exclusion a future edit to ldai/README.md or ldai/CHANGELOG.md would count toward a root SDK release.

Test plan

• go build ./... and go vet ./... pass on the root module
• go list ./... reports no packages under ldai/ — the doc-only directory is inert
• make workspace generates a go.work with ., ./ldmiddleware, ./ldotel, ./testservice, and the workspace build passes
• ldotel and ldmiddleware still build and test green
• make -n all / make -n test resolve with no dangling ldai targets
• No ldai references remain outside ldai/ except the intentional exclude-paths entry

Note

Overview
Removes the ldai Go module from this repo now that it lives in launchdarkly/go-server-sdk-ai. All implementation code (client, config, tracker, judge, tests), ldai/go.mod, license copy, and ldai-specific CI/issue templates are deleted.

The ldai/ folder is reduced to a README (new import path, version continuity from 0.9.4 → 0.10.0) and CHANGELOG through 0.9.4. Build/release wiring drops ldai from the Makefile, release-please manifest/config, and CONTRIBUTING; ldai remains in the root package exclude-paths so doc-only edits there do not trigger a root SDK release.
