Summary

  • Provider SEO expansion (PROVIDER_SEO): Add custom titles (<= 60 chars), meta descriptions, event/header reference tables, and verification/retry FAQs for the next 10 highest-impression SaaS providers (linear, docusign, sendgrid, paddle, intercom, square, cal, coinbase-commerce, adyen, and checkout-com).
  • Stop internal keyword cannibalization:
    • Retitle content/docs/sdk/signatures.mdx to verifySignature() API Reference (@webhooks-cc/sdk) and refine content/docs/guides/verify-webhook-signatures.mdx (How to Verify Webhook Signatures (HMAC, Ed25519, RSA)).
    • Add canonical: /compare to content/docs/guides/webhook-testing-tools.mdx.
  • Compare hub & new comparison pages:
    • Add /compare/svix (apps/web/app/compare/svix/page.tsx) and /compare/stripe-cli (apps/web/app/compare/stripe-cli/page.tsx) and wire them into /compare and PUBLIC_SITEMAP_PAGES.
    • Update /compare/ngrok metadata and FAQs to capture ngrok vs Hookdeck queries.
  • MCP server docs (content/docs/mcp/index.mdx): Lead with Webhook MCP Server (@webhooks-cc/mcp): Claude, Cursor & Codex and document Official MCP Registry (io.github.webhooks-cc/mcp), glama.json, Smithery, and supported MCP clients.
  • Technical hygiene:
    • Add permanent redirects for /webhooks/amazon-sns -> /webhooks/aws-sns, /compare/webhooks-cc -> /compare, and /compare/webhooks-cc-vs-webhook-site -> /compare/webhook-site.
    • Add explicit X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow on /dashboard/:path*, add /agent/claim and /blog/preview to shouldNoIndexPath(), and allow crawlers to read noindex headers on private routes in robots.txt.

Change: Feature

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to fc5c4

The release adds comparison and reference content and tightens request filtering. Some published copy is inaccurate: it tells users that email reaches their local server through the CLI tunnel, misstates SendGrid's signing model, and understates Svix's capabilities and pricing. Static and metadata requests also now run through the proxy and session refresh. None of these blocks core product flows, but the copy should be corrected before or soon after merge.

Review comments at @apps/web/app/compare/stripe-cli/page.tsx:
- Line 11: Correct the inbound-email forwarding claims in the FAQ answer,
feature table, and “One CLI” section so they do not state that whk tunnel
forwards captured emails to localhost; align the wording with the
configuration-based forwarding guidance in the CLI v1.3.2 changelog entry.

Review comments at @apps/web/app/compare/svix/page.tsx:
- Line 10: Update the comparison content around the Svix description to include
Svix Ingest alongside Svix Play when discussing inbound webhook capabilities,
and accurately distinguish those offerings from webhooks.cc without describing
Svix as outbound-only.
- Line 60: Update the Svix entry for “MCP server for AI agents” in the
comparison table and the corresponding /compare feature matrix to describe
Svix’s App Portal MCP capabilities, including inspecting deliveries and
replaying messages, instead of marking it as absent.
- Line 30: Update the Svix pricing statement in the comparison content to
identify the hosted Svix Cloud Basic plan as starting at $20/month after the
free developer tier, replacing the incorrect Professional price and tier.
Preserve the surrounding feature and plan comparison details.

Review comments at @apps/web/lib/webhook-provider-pages.ts:
- Line 1011: Update the description for the conversation.admin.replied row to
use “A teammate or admin replied to a conversation” instead of the incorrect
article and slash phrasing.

Review comments at @apps/web/proxy.ts:
- Line 151: Restore the proxy matcher configuration so static assets and
metadata requests such as /favicon.ico and /_next/* bypass proxy processing,
while preserving coverage for the newly added page paths. Update the matcher
associated with the proxy entry point rather than changing authentication logic.

Review comments at @content/docs/mcp/index.mdx:
- Line 208: Update the sandbox FAQ statement around the agent’s temporary
endpoints to specify both limits: 25 requests per endpoint and 100 requests
total, while preserving the existing 3-endpoint and 24-hour limits.
- Around line 37-39: Update the “Available tools” introduction to end with a
period and keep the API-key clarification as a complete sentence. Move the
provider-template secret note from its current location to the “Provider-aware
testing” section immediately after the provider list/example, preserving its
wording and scope.

Review comments at @content/docs/sdk/signatures.mdx:
- Line 3: Align the provider count in the page description and repeated guide
metadata with the actual provider-specific verifier list in the import block:
either add the missing verifier throughout the documentation or change every
32-provider reference to 31, keeping all counts consistent.
- Line 23: Update the SendGrid statement in the webhook verification overview to
remove the inaccurate claim that its security model uses IP allowlisting. State
separately that SendGrid supports signed Event Webhook requests but the SDK does
not currently expose their cryptographic verification, while preserving the
existing templates and detection statement.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Align the provider count with the verifier list.

The page claims 32 provider-specific verifier functions, but the import block lists 31. The guide metadata repeats the same 32 providers claim. Add the missing verifier or change the count consistently.
