Welcome! I'm Kevin. Sometimes I'm kehvyn online, but it's pronounced the same.

My biggest projects you might be interested in are

  1. pgLantern - The missing PostgreSQL mailing list API.
  2. epochal - The Rust, and therefore cross-language, natural language library for historical time.

Past professional work has included domain-aware AI agents, complex SQL optimizations across both PostgreSQL and BigQuery, and high-performance real-time React applications for first responders.

I'm currently open to challenging, fully remote work in any of my areas of expertise.

Current areas of interest for me include:

  1. PostgreSQL, always.
  2. Open data of all types. Every project I have starts with open data.
  3. Non-profit work, especially in direct aid, education, and healthcare.
  4. History and any way I can integrate technology into studying it
  5. Foreign language learning and pedagogy

I recently migrated away from Github for personal work and onto my own dedicated forge, but most important projects are mirrored here.
