Left over from 3f62f1d which replaced 'FROM azul/zulu-openjdk-debian:${JAVA_VERSION}' with 'FROM debian:trixie-slim' + a stage-scoped ARG JAVA_VERSION redeclaration for use in RUN. No FROM instruction consumes the top-level declaration anymore; verified builds emit no missing-build-arg warning for JAVA_VERSION after removal.

Added a follow-up commit removing dead code found by auditing the last 10 commits:
Left the per-arch `base-amd64`/`base-arm64` stage duplication as-is — that was intentionally added in #28 for multi-arch support, not dead code, just boilerplate that could be unified later if desired. |

Upstream check against Azul's Zulu metadata API found a newer GA build for the Java 21 line.
Also checked and confirmed already up to date (no changes needed):
zulu11.92.109-ca-jdk11.0.33matches Azul's current latest release.base.image(gcr.io/distroless/cc-debian13:debug) digest matches current upstream digest for both java-11 and java-21.Changes
