Approving at bb33fbd4, as an additional approval. The release PR is clean.
- Base: the release commit's parent is
773469787, which is the current tip ofmain. - Scope: 20 files, exactly the release set. There are 18 manifests, all with the single change
"version": "0.8.96"to"0.8.97": 13 packages, 4 plugin manifests andgemini-extension.json. The other two arereleases/v0.8.97.mdanddocs/changelog.mdx. No other files, and no LFS or compiled-output changes. - Notes match the range.
git log v0.8.96..bb33fbd4^has 8 commits, and each one appears exactly once: 3 features (#4755, #4758, #4749) and 5 fixes (#4756, #4768, #4757, #4753, #4754). Every short sha and full-sha link points to its own commit. The changelog entry carries the same summary and lines as the release file. - CI: the red
Studio and player capturesrun started at 13:20Z. A later run on this head, started at 13:27:58Z, passed. Everything else is green.

Release v0.8.97
Copied and duplicated clips in Studio keep their look and names, and undo, group selection and saved font weights now behave as expected. Hosts can also trim the timeline tool menu and point popovers at their triggers.

This PR only bumps package versions and adds release notes; the Studio change is one version line in
