feat(review): stamp finding ids on inline comments - #7919
Conversation
Copy findings[].id onto the diff comment as an HTML marker when it matches f_ plus alphanumeric. This command does not mint ids. A missing or invalid id leaves the comment body unchanged, so reviews stay the same until the agent starts emitting ids. Match the Go initialism convention used by every other ID field in the repo. The JSON tag stays "id", so the wire format and the inline comment stamp are unchanged. Risk Assessment: moderate (2/5) DetailsSmall additive change with balanced test coverage and no protected paths, but elevated to moderate risk due to high recent churn, multiple active authors, and frequent regression fixes in internal/cli/postreview.go. |

Treat a non-string findings[].id as missing so the rest of the review still posts. Scan the id like other finding fields and drop the stamp if it looks like a secret. Point the regex comment at fullsend-ai#7907. Addresses: AISDLC-122 Signed-off-by: Benjamin Kapner <bkapner@redhat.com>

LGTM. Both earlier bot findings are fixed in 12e8517: a non-string id is now ignored instead of breaking the review parse, and the id goes through the secret scanner before it is stamped. Nothing changes until the review agent emits findings[].id, and nothing parses inline comment bodies by their first line, so prepending the marker is safe. Tests pass locally.
The bot's CHANGES_REQUESTED is from c9c5843, before the fix; it needs a re-run or a dismissal.
Optional: every other marker uses the <!-- fullsend:… --> prefix. Since #7907 and the agents side will build on this one, <!-- fullsend:finding:f_… --> might be worth adopting now, while nothing emits ids yet.

im leaving the marker as to stay aligned with #7907. playback looks like Botics infra (not the stamp), so could you re-queue and dismiss/re-run the bot CHANGES_REQUESTED on the c9c5843 commit? @waynesun09 @rh-hemartin |
Summary
Stamp
<!-- finding:f_abc -->on inline review comments whenfindings[].idis present and matchesf_plus alphanumeric characters. Missing or invalid ids leave the comment unchanged. This command copies the id from the review JSON. It does not assign ids. Until the agents repo emits
findings[].id, posted reviews look the same as today.Related Issue
