Summary

  • Implements lock-free MetricsRegistry exposing Prometheus 0.0.4 text format and OpenTelemetry-aligned snapshots.
  • Adds ControlCmd::GetMetrics and yip metrics [--json] CLI commands.
  • Implements embedded, zero-dependency HTTP/1.1 scraper endpoint (--metrics-listen ) serving /metrics and /healthz.
  • Strictly zero emojis and full documentation updates in CHANGELOG.md and ROADMAP.md.

Closes #188.

- Add cached_peer_stats to MetricsRegistry and fallback in render_prometheus and snapshot
- Supply live peer metrics from registry to production HTTP scraper in tunnel.rs
- Bound MetricsHttpServer concurrency to 16 with HTTP 429 response on saturation
- Increase WouldBlock sleep to 100ms in MetricsHttpServer accept loop
- Cap HTTP scraper request reader with take(4096) to prevent unbounded allocations
- Update yip_crypto_current_epoch metric gauge on initiator and responder epoch promotions
- Add unit and integration tests covering peer stats fallback and bounded concurrency
