Closing as fixed by #1517 (merged 2026-11-02).

Root cause: a race in the shared-memory test synchronization helper (SharedMemoryObjectCreator): lock-file contention between the creator and the opener led to the opener not finding the shared-memory object (shm_sync_race signature in this issue's failures). #1517 acquires the lock file consistently in CreateObject and adds a stress test that reproduces the race on the old code. Last occurrence in this issue was before the fix; please reopen if it occurs again.

Note: this issue also saw the QNX guest boot kernel panic, which is tracked separately in #1513 (mitigated by itf 0.7.0, bump in #1545).
