Upstream agentrust-io#278 at 0084bed fails the pinned Ruff formatting gate. This author-adoption companion applies Ruff only to tests/unit/test_config.py, tests/unit/test_tdx.py. All changed Python ASTs are identical before and after.
Validation after formatting: 861 unit/conformance tests passed, 2 skipped. Ruff format and lint, mypy, Bandit and whitespace checks pass. Python 3.12 environment uses main's hash-locked development dependencies with this checkout installed editable; Ruff 0.17.1 matches this branch's lock. No behavioral or hardware assurance claim is added. Hosted checks and independent approvals remain.
