datacontract breakingnow grades from the consumer's perspective by default (a change breaks when v2 permits data v1 ruled out), with--perspective producerfor the previous question of whether data that passed v1 may fail v2. Rules report a direction (tightens, loosens, both, undetermined, untested) that the perspective turns into a severity, and every elementdatacontract testchecks is now graded, exceptretention.
