What this does

Three habits from claude-workflow-kit (MIT), in our own words:

  • Sessions get handed off when the work changes topic, not only at the end of the day. Most of a long session's cost is re-reading old context, so a fresh session per piece of work is cheaper and sharper.
  • Motion and layout values get tuned in the browser with a dev-only panel, then pasted back once, instead of twenty rounds of "a bit slower" in chat.
  • When a Figma frame exists, Claude builds exactly what's in the latest frame: its copy and its elements, nothing invented, nothing the designer removed.

Linear: OSS-132

Summary

  • skills/handoff/SKILL.md: also triggers on a topic switch ("moving on to X") or a landed milestone.
  • CLAUDE-FULL.md: "one session per piece of work" next to the 200K context guidance.
  • rules/motion-physics.md: tune timings, springs, sizes and colours through a dev-only control panel and commit the final values.
  • rules/design.md: build the latest Figma frame exactly. On a designed page, the anti-generic checks become a note to the person instead of a change to the design.
  • codex/AGENTS.append.md: short versions of the last two for Codex.

Test Plan

  • bun run typecheck exits 0
  • bun run lint:skills: 0 errors
  • bun run test: 3197 pass, 1 fail. The failure is the Codex CLI acceptance test hitting its 60s limit while another project's Rust build had the machine at load 184; that file passes alone (41 pass, 0 fail)
  • Codex review: no findings
  • handoff evals pass (pre-push hook)
  • Next session that switches topic gets a handoff offer
