Your Currents test runs inside Claude Code: a status band above the prompt for the branch you are on, with its first failure and the failures new against main, and a drawer with the branch's runs, failures, flaky tests, share links and its pull request's builds. Fix with Claude drafts a prompt from a failed run. |
At a Claude Code prompt in the terminal:
/plugin install currents-ci --marketplace currents-dev/claude-mod
Answer y to add the marketplace, then choose the user scope. Or from your shell:
claude plugin marketplace add currents-dev/claude-mod
claude plugin install currents-ci@currentsThe plugin loads in Claude Code in the terminal, the Code tab of the Desktop app and the VS Code extension. It needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later (the Desktop app's 2.1.286 or later).
Then connect Currents: press Sign in on the band, or connect Currents in the Claude directory. The plugin allows the five read-only Currents tools the band calls in the background, so Claude can call them without asking too. The plugin's README has the details.
Load the plugin from your clone for one session:
claude --plugin-dir plugins/currents-ciClaude Code reloads it as you save. Or install it from your clone, so every
session runs your working copy, and pick up edits with /reload-plugins:
claude plugin marketplace add .
claude plugin install currents-ci@currentsBefore you push:
claude plugin validate .
claude plugin validate plugins/currents-ci
claude plugin test plugins/currents-ciOnce Claude Code has loaded the plugin, it lays its API types in
plugins/currents-ci/.claude-plugin/types/ (ignored by git), and
npx tsc -p plugins/currents-ci type-checks it. CI runs the validation and the
tests on every push and pull request.
- Bump
versioninplugins/currents-ci/.claude-plugin/plugin.jsonand in.claude-plugin/marketplace.jsonfor every release. With an unchanged version, claude plugin updatekeeps users on the copy they have. - Never rename the plugin: installs are recorded as
currents-ci@currents. - The plugin points its MCP server at the same URL as the Currents connector
(
https://mcp.currents.dev/mcp), so someone with both sees one set of tools. In the developer portal, submit this repository'splugins/currents-cias a plugin bundle from the Currents organization and pair it with the Currents connector. Once listed, merging tomainpublishes each new version after the directory's scan.
