Replace stale conference and reference links with working event pages, the original mailing-list thread, or an archived article. Remove unusable closed-CFP links and a dead profile URL while preserving the reviewer credit. Exclude only the System76 homepage from automated checks: it returns 200 locally but repeatedly fails in CI.
