Bumps haze from 2.0.0-beta02 to 2.0.0-beta03.
Updates dev.chrisbanes.haze:haze from 2.0.0-beta02 to 2.0.0-beta03

Release notes

Sourced from dev.chrisbanes.haze:haze's releases.

2.0.0-beta03

Added

  • Added HazeInput.Backdrop with portable source fallback and an experimental native backend for Android 17 QPR2. Native rendering is disabled by default and requires HazeFeatureFlags.isPlatformBackdropEnabled; physical Android 37.2 acceptance remains pending (#1278).
  • Added GlassAccessibilitySettings and LocalGlassAccessibilitySettings for app-supplied reduced transparency, increased contrast, and visible borders, plus the edgeShadow style builder and GlassOptics.refractionDetailIntensity controls (#1272, #1275).

Changed

  • Replaced the experimental GlassOptics.Adaptive and GlassOptics.Fixed types with one public GlassOptics configuration. Blur and depth can now use independent shortest-dimension points through OpticalSizeValue.Responsive (#1272).
  • Refined Glass edge shading and the default specular response (#1275).
  • Skip source capture while no effects consume it (#1279).
  • Validate progressive gradient intensities as finite values in 0f..1f and require at least two stops when converting gradients to brushes (#1282).
  • Refreshed Android baseline profiles for Haze 2 (#1293, #1294).
  • Updated Kotlin to 2.4.20 (#1295).

Fixed

  • Corrected the built-in Regular and Clear Glass blur and depth responses so compact surfaces retain more source detail while larger surfaces increase their blur smoothly (#1272).
  • Corrected published Compose dependency scopes (#1283).
  • Fixed Behind source selection across nested independent Haze states (#1290).
  • Accept subpixel blur radii in the RenderScript backend (#1291).
  • Preserve progressive blur coverage for constant and restricted intensity ranges on Android 12 and 12L (#1292).
  • Fixed a RenderScript teardown race that could crash during scrolling and activity relaunch (#1294).

Holding this until the project can compile against SDK 37.2.

beta03 raises the compile floor on all four haze artifacts, which fails the build at configuration:

Dependency 'dev.chrisbanes.haze:haze-blur-materials-android:2.0.0-beta03' requires
libraries and applications that depend on it to compile against version 37.2 or
later of the Android APIs.
:apps:flipcash:shared:persistence:db is currently compiled against android-37.0.

Same for haze-android, haze-blur-android and haze-utils-android. It comes from the experimental native backend for Android 17 QPR2 in the beta03 notes.

The version bump alone can't satisfy it. android-compileSdk = "37" is read with .toInt() at every consumer, so there is nowhere to put the minor version:

  • build-logic/convention/src/main/kotlin/AndroidLibraryConventionPlugin.kt:27
  • apps/flipcash/app/build.gradle.kts:49
  • apps/flipcash/benchmark/build.gradle.kts:10
  • kmp/shared-core/build.gradle.kts:27, which hardcodes compileSdk = 37

AGP is on 9.4.0, so compileSdkMinor is available, and platforms;android-37.2 is published as stable. Threading a minor through those four sites and provisioning the platform on the CI runner is its own change; this PR should go green once it lands.

The one API break in beta03 does not affect us. GlassOptics.Adaptive and GlassOptics.Fixed collapsing into a single GlassOptics touches nothing here: all 16 call sites use HazeInput.Sources with either HazeBlurStyle {} or HazeMaterials.*.

Dependabot's haze 2.0.0-beta03 bump (#1443) fails at configuration:

    Dependency 'dev.chrisbanes.haze:haze-blur-materials-android:2.0.0-beta03'
    requires libraries and applications that depend on it to compile against
    version 37.2 or later of the Android APIs.
    :apps:flipcash:shared:persistence:db is currently compiled against
    android-37.0.

The catalog holds compileSdk as an integer and every consumer calls `.toInt()`,
so there was nowhere to put a minor version. AGP 9.4.0 takes one through a spec
block instead:

    compileSdk {
        version = release(37) { minorApiLevel = 2 }
    }

That form is the only one available on both `CommonExtension` and
`KotlinMultiplatformAndroidLibraryExtension` — the KMP extension has no
`compileSdkMinor` property — so all twelve sites use it.

Nine of those sites are KMP modules that hardcoded `compileSdk = 37` rather than
reading the catalog, which is why this is a twelve-site change instead of a
one-line one. They now read `android-compileSdk` and `android-compileSdkMinor`
like everything else.

`Build.VERSION.SDK_INT` still reports 37; only `SDK_INT_FULL` carries the minor,
so no runtime behaviour changes.
