Summary

A font's .ini in DMOD_ASSETS_PATHS can now set tracking: letter spacing in pixels, e.g. -2.4, like CSS letter-spacing.

  • dmod passes it to todmvf as -t.
  • A value that is not a number fails configuration and names the file.
[inter-b-48-clock]
size     = 48
chars    = 0x30-0x3A
tracking = -2.4

Also: in docs/cmake-functions.md the fonts bullet had run into the images bullet; it is now on a line of its own.

Requirements

todmvf with -t (choco-technologies/todmvf feature/tracking) must be released first. Until then a font that uses tracking fails to convert.

Testing

I built dmview's dmodOS example with this dmod and a local todmvf. That converted 30 fonts from 6 .ini files, 5 of them with tracking. The outputs are identical to running todmvf by hand.

A font's .ini section can set its letter spacing in pixels (e.g. -2.4,
like CSS letter-spacing). Also puts the fonts entry of cmake-functions.md
on a line of its own.
