Description:
Currently, TaskNotes forces both Task notes and Project notes to be saved inside the same designated folder. I would like to request an option in the plugin settings to define independent target folders for Tasks and Projects.
Use Case / Motivation:
Organizing all notes into a single directory makes folder navigation cluttered and harder to manage, especially in larger vaults. Separating action items (Tasks) from broader contexts (Projects) into distinct folders (e.g., Archive/Tasks and Projects/Active) provides a cleaner vault structure and better integration with other plugins or workflows.
Proposed Solution:
In the plugin settings under folder locations:
Add a dedicated setting: Task Notes Folder (e.g., Path/To/Tasks)
Add a dedicated setting: Project Notes Folder (e.g., Path/To/Projects)
